Diploma in Web Designing (DWD)
This blended technical and creative computer training program is designed to provide learners with a strong foundation in basic computing, desktop publishing, and web technologies. The course begins with the fundamentals of computers and the Windows operating system, along with an introduction to the basics of Desktop Publishing (DTP), enabling students to understand digital layouts, document formatting, and print-ready design concepts.
Participants then move into core web development skills, learning HTML and DHTML for structuring web pages, JavaScript for adding interactivity, and either Flash or modern multimedia tools for creating animated or dynamic content. The program also covers effective Internet usage, online research methods, digital communication, and web-based tools essential for today’s connected world.
Hands-on learning is central to the course, with dedicated computer lab practical sessions, guided exercises, and real-time development tasks. Students complete project work and appear for viva examinations to demonstrate their technical understanding and applied skills, preparing them for entry-level roles in web design, DTP operations, and digital content creation.
